We’re excited to announce that we will be vending at Fetfest 2012!

FetFest is a four day, three night international party where kinksters can take classes, visit vendors, and express their kinky side NON-STOP. Camp in themed villages, participate in the massage studio, put on a show in the exhibitionist shower, take a ride on the naked slip-n-slide, enjoy a hot beverage at the Starfucks Coffee shop, and much, much more.

What would you wear into the arena if your name were chosen on Reaping Day? Foxsquirrel says she would definitely wear her new Buddhaful crop jacket, though she might consider camouflaging with either the army or black terry fabric. Leather Fleamarket & Play Party

Last weekend we attended the Leather Fleamarket and Play Party (LF&P) at The Crucible in Washington, D.C. with a bigger setup and even bigger expectations.

Once again we met some great new and awesome people, made a new purchase (stay tuned for sexy images in an upcoming blog), and even made a vendor trade!

As for the Play Party, it was…titillating to say the least. ::grins::

Colonial Kink Conference

We recently vended at the Colonial Kink conference over the weekend, located in Williamsburg, Virginia.

It was a thrilling experience to not only have an opportunity to represent Fawx Tails and make new friendships, but to also bring back with us kinky memories like having Foxsquirrel try on her first latex cat suit, courtesy of Scott Big Head.

What a smashing weekend these past few days have been!

Kitsune

In the far east, our beloved animal, the fox, plays an enchanting role within Japanese mythology.

There, they are known as Kitsune, and are viewed as cleverly brilliant creatures with unimaginable powers (often used for mischief).

But it is their remarkable shapeshifting ability to turn into humans that has created the most fascinating of tales.

While there are numerous legends of foxes living among humans, the most sensational stories are the ones when a disguised Kitsune tricks a human into marriage.

So how would you know if your significant other is a Kitsune in disguise? Look for deviations in the shadow they cast; does it look human? There are also “fox-faced” characteristics (if disguised as a female) to look for, such as thin eyebrows, prominent cheekbones, or even a narrow face structure.

Kitsune are also terribly afraid of dogs.

However, if all else fails, pour them a nice libation of port. It’s been said that sometimes a Kitsune will have difficulty concealing their tail when after several sips.
